Went to the mall yesterday. I got a snazzy unicorn necklace and some cool earrings from Forever 21. I didn't get any clothes because the store was really small. It was weird because the mall was huge.

Anywho, can you believe it's Christmas Eve? It's like the beginning of December goes by so slowly, the BAM! It's Christmas Eve! Yesterday I finished shopping for my mom, so I'm pretty much done. Except for my two best friends.

Yes, I know I'm a bad friend for waiting so long.

But they aren't any help. I keep asking them for ideas, they always say they don't care or know. So I think I'll just get them a BORT. Bag Of Random Things. But what kind of random things?
Fashion scarves?
Hipster glasses?
Keys?
Candy?
Bubbles?
Rings?
Socks?
Glitter?
Crayons?

*sigh* I don't know how my mother does this.

Harry Potter and the deathly hallows part 2 was AMAZING! It certainly ended with a bang. They even did the 19 years later. I'll admit I cried a little. Like when I saw how caring Snape was....

Anywho, I'd like to point out a few things I wish they had put in the movies, that would have made them, awesomer.

Peeves. I mean they had the other ghosts...and Peeves did that awesome song when Harry killed Voldemort..

When Harry, Ron, And Hermione see Neville and his grandma visiting his parents. And his mom gives him the candy wrapper...

Or when Dudley tells harry he doesn't think he's worthless...

Harry Potter

Last year, I won tickets to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2 at the IMAX, on a radio station call in contest. Caller 25. It was at 7am. But well worth it. I'm kind of obsessed with Harry Potter. Then this year I told all my friend and family that I would win tickets again. And of course they would just roll their eyes and say sure. But I did. Monday night around 10. I had called and it was ringing and ringing, I almost hang up. But I didn't, and I heard 'Hi! You're caller number 25!' I was so excited! I almost like forgot my name! And on this station, I can always get though. Maybe not win but I can always be caller number whatever.

So Friday at the IMAX, I will be seeing Harry Potter. On opening day. For the last time. But Like J.K. Rowling said: 'Whether you come back by film or by page, Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home" So I will visit Harry and the gang again and again. And someday with my kids. And Harry Potter will live on, in all of us fans.

I'm counting down the days until Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2 comes out, 9 days. I'm sad it's coming to an end. Of course I couldn't have been a Potter fan for all the movies, I was only like 3 or 4 when the first came out on VHS. And the books came out in the US months after I was born.

I really can't believe it's in 9 days...it seems like just a month ago it was November.. I kinda want JK Rowling to make another Harry Potter book. Maybe about their kids. But even if she did, Daniel Radcliffe said he wouldn't be in the movie, if they made one. Made enough money I suppose. But still, he could earn so much more. I think Rupert and Emma would do another movie, but I dunno.

Anyway, after a decade of movies, it finally must end. I suppose if it went on forever we'd get sick and tired of it, but we're the Harry Potter generation. We grew up with him. Even after reading about Dobby, we feel sad for him. In the last book when people die, we still get teary eyed. When we see a lightning bolt who do we think of? Harry. Harry Potter will live on though. It is the series of books/movies of the century. JK Rowling, I hope one day I can make a book half as good as yours.

Can you believe that Wednesday was the longest day of the year? And now the days will slowly get shorter? I can't. I mean it's still June! It's depressing to think about summer being over.

After that one day of the year,
The one that's the longest,
Summer starts to slip away.
Slipping though our fingers like sand at a beach,
The days that once passed so slowly,
Now pass by in a blur.
The slow days we once hated,
We cling to,
Begging summer to stay.
But soon school; the dark cloud that looms above us,
Consumes us.
Then the process repeats itself over.

Yesterday I went to Cedar Point. I loved every second! I rode pretty much all of the roller coasters and thrill rides. Even the new ride, The Windseeker. That was okay. Pretty much just a big swing ride, but you could see the whole park which was cool. There was even old people riding it! And of course I rode Top Thrill Dragster, you have to. Best. Ride. Ever. The line wasn't even that long because it was early in the morning. Sure it was only 17 seconds, but it was an amazing 17 seconds. Then me and my friends rode the Magnum XL 200 six times! Just to get an amazing picture! We finally got one of with our fingerstaches. So it was a pretty amazing day. We probably walked around the park four times, we decided to plan our rides next time. We tried to this time, but some lines said 15 minutes when they looked like 2 hours.

And in case any of you were wondering how the dentist cleans your teeth if you have braces well I know. I went there Monday. The blast your teeth with air, water, and baking soda. It feels like a sandblaster. On the brightside no cavities! Woot! And I didn't need to get an X Ray. Because last time I accidentally bit the lady's finger...

Book Review:Girl In Blue

Because it's the 150th anniversary of the civil war, I decided to write a review on this book.
Girl in blue
By: Ann Rinaldi
Rating:9/10

Summary:
The year is 1861. When spirited teenager Sarah Louisa learns that she is to be married off to her despicable neighbor, she runs away from home. Disguising herself as a boy, Sarah boldly joins the army - and before long is a soldier in the civil war.

Sarah navigates the joys and hardships of Arny life, all the while struggling to keep her true identity a secret. But Sarah's real adventures are just beginning. A chance encounter with a detective soon draws her into a wed of mystery, intrigue, and romance...and Sarah's courage will be put to the test as never before.

This is a very interesting book. I liked how it was about a girl in the civil war. Most books about the civil war aren't about girls. So you get a different view. At some points in the book it was slow reading, but then the pace would speed back up.

Sarah was based off a real woman in the civil war, Sarah Emma Edmonds, enlisted with the 2nd Michigan Infantry under the name Franklin Thompson, the same regiment Sarah Wheelock joined. And many of the other characters who played a big role were also real.

The only thing I wasn't very happy with was the ending. It felt as if it needed to go on, with a sequel. But it could be looked at both ways. Maybe the author thought she might make another book, but didn't want to feel like she had to. But overall it's a great book, filled with history, romance, and some mystery.

Hope you all have a great memorial day! I have so far! I had a sleepover with my best friend, then went to a Civil war reenactment. It's neat to learn about all that stuff. One day me and my friend will do it, dressed as soldiers. Because sometimes at those things you see girls dressed as soldiers! Which is very cool.

Wow, it's been a while since I last blogged. Maybe the last few days have just been boring. Well besides what I'm about to tell you. So yesterday I went to the othodontist, and got these colorful rubber bands to go on my braces. They make my mouth feel weird, like it doesn't open right. But anyway, the cool thing about them is shooting them. I can't really aim but most of the time they go straight. These should be fun.

So today I heard that because the worlds ending Saturday, you can pay $135 for someone to take care of your pet until it dies. First I don't believe the world will end. Second wouldn't all of the pets die too? If they didn't die, the people taking care of them couldn't really take care of them until they die, because they would be dead.. I don't think some pet owners think that through. I feel bad for their pets.

I don't believe the worlds ending. I mean the last Harry Potter movie isn't out yet. God wouldn't do that to us. He'd probably wait and see it with us.

Graceling Book Review.

Yay! My first post!

Graceling by Kristen Cashore

Summary:
Katsa has been able to kill a man with her bare hands since she was eight—she’s a Graceling, one of the rare people in her land born with an extreme skill. As niece of the king, she should be able to live a life of privilege, but Graced as she is with killing, she is forced to work as the king’s thug.

When she first meets Prince Po, Graced with combat skills, Katsa has no hint of how her life is about to change. She never expects to become Po’s friend. She never expects to learn a new truth about her own Grace—or about a terrible secret that lies hidden far away . . . a secret that could destroy all seven kingdoms with words alone.

I loved this book, from the cover to the plot. Amazing. It was the cover that made me pick it up, then I read the first few pages and was hooked. The Seven Kingdoms trilogy makes me wish Graces were real. Because I'd love to have one, and the eyes which are different colors. The mark of a Graced.

Cover Like I had said, it's what made me pick it up. It's interesting, so it makes you assume the book will be. And I love the colors.

Characters I loved all of them! Well all of the good ones. They all had cool names like Kasta and Po. And all of the characters were very nicely describe and had cool looks. And they was a perfect amount of main and minor characters. Enough to keep it interesting, but not so many it was hard to remember them all.

Setting  Great. It was in a land called The Seven Kingdoms. I like it when a story takes place in a made up land. Especially one like The Seven Kingdoms, I wish it was real.

Over All Rating 5/5
Graceling is a unique story, one that has something for everyone. The only thing I don't like it that there isn't a sequel, but a companion.
